Metismo is expanding its core team and is currently looking to find developers for the following positions:

Senior Middleware Programmer

You will be working with a core team of senior programmers on the underlying technology for Bedrock, our cross platform development system. The position calls for ongoing product development including research into new platforms and tools. Our focus is primarily on mobile platforms but we do also target the web and handheld consoles.

Required Skills:

  • 2 years minimum experience as a senior programmer
  • C/C++ development experience
  • Familiarity with development processes and low level programming
  • Ability to communicate with clients and technology partners
  • Must be able to work on projects with short turnaround
  • Working with technology programmers to develop tools and technology

Desired Skills:

  • Java development experience
  • Mobile and/or handheld console development experience
  • Interest in compilers and cross compilation technology

This is a full time position.

Junior Middleware Programmer

You will be working alongside a core team of experienced senior programmers, covering a wide number of platforms including mobile, web and handheld consoles. There is a good balance between gaining hands on development experience and working with our clients utilizing the Bedrock technology.

Required Skills:

  • Mobile platform experience e.g. iPhone/Android/WinMobile
  • Java and/or C/C++ development experience
  • Must be able to work on projects with short turnaround
  • Testing, debugging and revision of tools and technology
  • Handling client support tickets and feature requests
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic developer looking to join an experienced team
